US Supreme Court rejects appeal to grant citizenship to American Samoa

The Supreme Court on Monday rejected an appeal to grant US citizenship to those born in American Samoa.

Except for an appeals court decision, the court also passed an invitation to overturn a series of decisions from before 1901, known as the insular case,

Which is full of racist and anti-foreigner rhetoric.

Justice Neil Gorsuch called for the cases to be reversed in April.

But the judges refused to appeal to those born in American Samoa and those living in Utah,

who argued that a federal law declares that they are "citizens of the United States at birth,

but not citizens" is unconstitutional

Let us tell you that American Samoa is the only unincorporated territory of the United States.

Where residents are not US citizens at birth.
